Surgery of the face and jaws affects how patients breathe, eat, speak and see themselves. My approach combines careful diagnosis, digital planning and clear communication at every stage.

Dr. Mohammed Mousa Bakri is a Saudi Consultant Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon and Associate Professor at Jazan University, where he leads the Division of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. He completed his residency and master's degree at Seoul National University, after advanced oral surgery training at New York University, and brings that international experience to orthognathic, aesthetic and reconstructive surgery of the face and jaws.

OMFS Residency Certificate, Seoul National University Dental Hospital (2020). Master of Science in Dentistry, Seoul National University (2019). Advanced Training in Oral Surgery, New York University (2015). Bachelor of Dental Surgery with Excellent and Honours, King Khalid University (2011).
Licensure
Consultant in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (2024–present). Previously OMFS Senior Registrar (2020–2024) and licensed OMFS resident in Korea (2016–2020).
Academic Career
Associate Professor and Head of the Division of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, College of Dentistry, Jazan University. Former Internship Training Program Director (2020–2022).
Clinical Interests
Orthognathic surgery for jaw deformities, facial aesthetic surgery (lips, eyelids and ears), facial trauma, facial and jaw tumours, TMJ surgery, dental implants, surgical extractions, and fillers & botulinum toxin.
International Training
Residency in Seoul, Korea, with cadaver workshops in facial contouring and maxillofacial aesthetic surgery, microsurgery and AOCMF orthognathic training. TMJ Arthroscopic Academy (Cairo, 2025) and hospital visits in Korea (2024).
Research
Orthognathic outcomes, fixation plate removal, maxillofacial reconstruction with free flaps, head and neck pathology and facial aesthetics.
Teaching
Courses in anaesthesia & exodontia, clinical and advanced oral & maxillofacial surgery, comprehensive dental care and dental implantology at Jazan University.
Conferences
Presenter at ICOMS 2025 (Singapore), the Saudi Society of OMFS, the Asian AOMS and the Korean Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons.
